Winter Wedding Wonderland Styled Shoot at The Kings Head

Here at the King's Head Hotel, we believe that every wedding (or styled shoot) is entirely individual. We get so excited to see how the set up for each event looks after all the hard work comes together.

When Etiquette Events got in touch to organise a styled shoot at KHH we jumped at the opportunity to host it!

You only have to glance at Etiquette Event's social media pages to know that the team put their heart and soul into every event they work on. We knew they would make our spaces look incredible.

That paired with the incredible contributors list was a recipe for perfection!

This particular shoot had a focus on setting the Assembly Room for a ceremony followed by a wedding breakfast set up, topped off with drapes of fairy lights as a backdrop and focus for the evening celebrations. This wintery theme, that could easily be transferred to any season, made you feel you were walking into a fairy tale wonderland of wedded bliss.

Etiquette Events set up their gorgeous blossom trees on Perspex pedestals to heighten the look, and focus your sight to the centre of the room. This perfectly complemented our high ceilings and the distinctive arches in the top section of the room. The 'floating' tea lights in their glass bubbles were like something from a movie.

The team then lined the aisle with an abundance of pillar candles. How incredible is the reflection on the wooden floor of the flicker of candlelight?!

Once the ceremony was 'over', it was time to set up the Wedding Breakfast.

The colour palette was chosen to be neutral with a pop of sage to draw your attention to the detail of the tablescape.

Below the cloth napkins sat glass charger plates with decadent gold detailing, layered on white table linen with a champagne satin table runner. The glassware matched the charger plates with a thin gold rim to tie everything together.

For the centre of the tables the blossom trees were reused post ceremony along with the candles that previously lined the aisle. Add some extra blossom and the centrepieces where complete.

For the finale, the team set up a structure of fairy lights as a backdrop to dancing and the perfect spot for evening photographs ... cue dress change.

Each set up oozed luxury, sophistication and glamour. Meticulously planned and perfectly executed.
