Tom & Liz, The Barn at Upcote, Cheltenham

We first met Tom & Liz at Liz's Brothers wedding which we photographed a few years ago, so when it was their turn to say "I Do" the Mother of the Bride got in touch with us and booked us!

On the wedding day we arrived at the Bride's family home near Cirencester, and Liz and her bridesmaids spent the morning preparing for the wedding together. All was calm but the excitement of the day was building with lots of chatter and giggles. 

Liz was so chilled throughout the morning - no rushing just purely enjoying each and every moment. Once her hair and make up had finished, Liz was soon stepping into her dress - she looked gorgeous in her dress and veil, as did her bridesmaids in navy blue long-line dresses. Soon, Liz and her bridesmaids were posing for photos and enjoying a glass of fizz, before heading to the church.

The Groom and groomsmen looked very stylish wearing blue suits and brown shoes and their buttonholes added a pop of color to the outfit.

The ceremony took place at St Peter's Church, Cirencester. Tom and the groomsmen were busy greeting friends and family as the arrived at the church. The atmosphere was buzzing with lots of chatter, laughter and hugs all around. Guests were soon seated and awaiting the arrival of the Bride. 

The Bridesmaids led the way for the Bride who followed with her Dad by her side, this was an emotional moment for Liz as she walked down the aisle with happy tears. The ceremony was lovely with readings from family and friends, the vicar was charming and memorable, especially the moment he dropped the rings! The register was signed and a kiss sealed the deal and Tom and Liz walked up the aisle as Husband and Wife. Once the confetti was thrown it was time to head to the wedding reception at The Barn at Upcote.

The Barn at Upcote is a stone barn situated nr Cheltenham with Cotswold scenery all around, its a gorgeous setting for a wedding and the wedding team are fabulous to work with.

It was a beautiful Autumn day so guests enjoyed yummy canapes and a glass of fizz on the lawn while the newlyweds went for a little walk for their Bride and Groom portraits. Before heading inside the barn for the wedding breakfast, Tom and Liz walked through a tunnel of bubbles, this was so much fun!

The barn looked lovely dressed for the wedding breakfast, with jars of flowers and candles on each and every table. Once all the guests were seated it was time for the speeches, the speeches were fantastic with so much emotion, lots of happy tears and laughter...lots of laughter!

There was sparkler fun for all the guests before the bride and groom took to the dance floor for their first dance as husband and wife. They had family and friends cheering them on as they performed their dance routine, and soon after the dance floor was crazy busy with everybody up and dancing the night away!
