On a beautiful sunny summers day , witnessed by their two sons, family and friends, Simon and Becky said "I Do"!
Morning preparations took place at The Hare and Hounds, Becky was busy preparing for the wedding in the gamekeepers cottage with her Mum and bridesmaids when we arrived.
It was a lovely morning with lots of chatter and laughter. The main conversation was the weather, Simon and Becky really wanted an outdoor ceremony but the weather forecast and dark clouds was threatening this from happening.
The morning flew by and before we knew it Becky was in her gorgeous dress, placing the veil in her hair and adding the finishing touches of perfume and jewelry. After a big cuddle with her Dad it was time for Becky to make her way to the ceremony.
The decision was made and the ceremony was held outdoors and luckily the weather stayed on their side all day!
With all guests seated, Simon in position and the pageboys ready, it was time for Becky to make her entrance. The bridesmaids and pageboys led the way, and with a big smile on her face and her Dad by her side, Becky made her way down the aisle.
The ceremony included the giving and receiving of rings, and once pronounced as husband and wife they sealed the deal with a kiss. The paperwork was signed and the newlyweds walked up the aisle while being showered in confetti. The guests enjoyed a glass of fizz in the gardens while the official photos were taken.
The wedding breakfast room looked absolutely gorgeous decorated with bunting, fairy lights and flowers throughout. The speeches by the Father of the Bride, The Groom and Best Man created lots of laughter and of course a few tears.
The evening celebrations started with the Bride and Groom cutting the cake with a little help from their son Harry, who cheekily ate a little cake while mum and dad sliced it! The Bride and Groom then took to the dance floor for their first dance as a married couple.
It was a lovely wedding day and we wish Mr & Mrs Jackson all the happiness for the future.
