The ultimate resource for creating your perfect wedding...
This Autumnal styled shoot has been submitted by Swindon based cake designer Bella Cakes by Sharon and it's simply stunning! With a wash of rich tones and a romantic atmosphere, it's certain to inspire you! Read on to hear what Sharon had to share of this shoot...
Myself and several other very talented suppliers got together to create this gallery, where we have been able to express and showcase our creativity with the assistance of the very talented Antonia Grace Photography.
The aim was to create something using rich, warm berry and gold tones along with a romantic and alluring moodiness.
The shoot took place at the beautiful Manor Barn in Salisbury which is right on the door step of the famous StoneHenge. The barn is a private wedding venue where they hold no more than 20 weddings a year making it exclusive and very personal. It is still relatively new as the first wedding hosted by the family was in 2013. It really is a hidden gem!
The flowers were created by Kate Robinson Flowers who put together an array of beautiful blooms which heavily complemented and brought together every aspect of the shoot and the style we were all aiming for. Kate used many rich, warm berry toned flowers along with stunning foliage and pheasant feathers to keep it in style with the barn.
The dresses were from the stunning Whitewed approved bridal boutique Willoughby & Wolf of Marlborough who opened their doors in September 2018.
Willoughby & Wolf showcased two of their beautiful gowns during this shoot; one by designer Marco & Maria and the other by Watters.
The model's hair has been styled by the very accomplished Stacey Johnson of Updoo. She showcased her adaptability in hairstyles by creating a romantic wave, and a more contemporary loose braid decorated with delicate hair pins provided by Willoughby & Wolf.
The makeup was by Katie Aldridge Makeup, who created a sultry smokey eye which was further complemented by a deep berry lip colour.
The cake was made by myself, Bella Cakes by Sharon. I created a beautiful 3 tier ivory fondant wedding cake delicately decorated with 24ct gold leaf which was then complemented further by the flowers.
Lastly, we have our stationery which was create by Whitewed approved Lucy Ann Designs. She wanted to showcase her beautiful stationery for which she provided an invitation along with RSVP, and also a place setting. She kept to the colours and style of the shoot, and finished it off with a beautiful wax stamp.
