Richie & Amy at Bittenham Springs, Cirencester

Saturday 3rd August 2019 was the day Richie and Amy said "I Do!" Their wedding ceremony and celebrations took place at Bittenham Springs, a beautiful country side setting near Cirencester. The wedding ceremony took place on a little island surround by a lake - it really is a picturesque setting for a wedding.

Our day started at The Cotswold Water Park Hotel where Amy was busy preparing for the wedding with her Bridesmaids and gorgeous flower girl. It was a relaxed calm morning as the girls had their hair and Make up beautifully styled before stepping into their dresses. The Bridesmaids helped Amy into her dress and added the finishing touches of shoes, jewellery and perfume before heading off to Bittenham Springs in a stylish Jaguar.

Richie arrived in style too, in a silver Ferrari! After a few photos he was soon busy greeting the arriving guests at Bittenham Springs and seating them for the arrival of the bride. The Bridesmaids arrived first and were soon followed by the Bride and her Dad. They then made their entrance and with a huge smile upon her face, Amy walked down the aisle with her Dad by her side as her soon to be husband greeted her with a huge smile.

The ceremony was lovely and included a beautiful reading from one of the bridesmaids, as well as the giving and receiving of rings. The newlyweds celebrated with a kiss and signed the official paperwork before walking back up the aisle hand in hand as husband and wife (with their gorgeous dog right by their side) as confetti showered over them!

The wonderful sounds of Adam Okin played as guests enjoyed a glass of fizz and yummy canapes, while the bride and groom portraits were taken. After photos, the bridal party had some fun with smoke bombs before a special surprise arrived for Amy - her lovely horse made an appearance for a photo too!

The wedding breakfast took place in the Petal Pole Marquee which was dressed beautifully with flowers, lace and wooden logs on each and every table. Such a lovely light marquee and simply beautiful for the wedding reception. A yummy three course meal was served and the speeches followed. The father of the groom, best man, groom and the bride each gave a speech, all full of emotion and laughter!

Later, Richie and Amy took to the dance floor for their first dance, and they were soon joined by family and friends on the dance floor. The dance floor looked stunning with light up letters and indoor fireworks.

The wedding cake was made by friends of the newlyweds and took pride of place in the marquee. The naked cake suited the theme perfectly and we loved the cake topper too as it included their gorgeous dog!
