Real Wedding: Karen & Jon at Leigh Park Hotel

This real wedding has been sent in by the very talented Hibiscus and Hodge Flowers and is a prime example of her skills and creativity. On this particular wedding she was challenged with bringing together and showcasing two nations through the choices of flowers used and the colours within, which she has done exceptionally well.

Eleanor From Hibiscus and Hodge Flowers tell us a little more about their brief and how it came together "A magical combination of Italian and Scottish heritage was the theme for Karen and Jon's wedding at Leigh Park hotel. With the families colour of Tartan proudly on display within the decor, Scottish born Karen chose blooms of heather and thistle to reflect her upbringing. Meanwhile to reflect Jon's Italian upbringing real olive trees were sourced for the table centerpieces alongside Italian ruscus and olive branches to create the feel of intimately dining in an Italian trattoria for the evening celebrations. Shades of blue, white and red were effectively used in the arrangements to make you think of Scottish tartan and the Italian flag when looking at them. As usual we added lots of texture and drama to create our signature abundant wild style."
