J & A at Church of St Mary The Virgin & Spittleborough Farm

We first met Abi at a wedding fair where we chatted lots about her wedding day plans and showed her a selection of photos we had taken of a wedding at the venue previously. A few weeks later, Abi and Jordan booked us to photograph their wedding day on June 1st 2019 at the Church of St Mary The Virgin Bampton and afterwards at Spittleborough Farm for their wedding celebrations.

On the wedding day, Abi prepared with her Mum, Man of Honour and bridesmaids at her home in Bampton - there was a lot of chatter and laughter during the morning preparations! Abi was lucky enough to have two good friends who work professionally in the hair and Make-up industry, so they were busy making sure her hair and make up was perfect! Once everybody was ready, the champagne was popped and everybody enjoyed a glass of bubbles.

Jordan and his groomsmen were busy greeting guests as they arrived at the church for the wedding ceremony. With the church filled to the max with friends and family, it was time for Jordan to await the arrival of his bride.

Jordan and Abi's home is just a few streets away from the church, So Abi hitched up her dress and walked through the pretty streets with her Bridesmaids, Mum and Man of Honour and made her way to the church.

Abi walked down the aisle with her Mum by her side, with a huge pretty smile as she walked towards Jordan. The ceremony was lovely and included hymns and readings from a few of their friends. Jordan and Abi smiled and giggled throughout - the vicar was absolutely lovely and joked, laughed and simply made the ceremony perfect. The official paperwork was signed and the newlyweds walked up the aisle as the new Mr & Mrs Ford!

Confetti was thrown and lots of hugs and kisses were given. After a few photos it was time for the Bride and Groom with their friends and family to make their way to the wedding celebrations at Spittleborough Farm.

The sun was shining brightly all afternoon which meant the guests could enjoy the drinks reception on the lawn. The hog roast was served and the speeches followed. As the big brass band played, the newlyweds took to the dance floor for the first of two dances.

As the sun started to set, we went for a walk with Abi and Jordan around the farm for a few intimate photos.

The brass band entertained guests all afternoon, but after the first dance it was time for a change of entertainment! Jordan is part of a band, so it was time for his band to take to the stage! Abi and Jordan took to the dance floor for their second dance and once finished, Jordan jumped on stage and joined the band. Soon after, as a surprise for their guests, Abi joined the band on stage for a few songs!

We very much enjoyed being a part of their wedding day, it was a great wedding with a fabulous atmosphere!
