Read on to hear how love won for Chris & Tori as their special intimate wedding ceremony at their family Church in Leigh went ahead despite the Coronavirus restrictions, and my, was it worth it -even their dogs wore beautiful floral collars for the occasion! ...
Coronavirus has hugely impacted the wedding industry this year and as a wedding photographer it's been a difficult year not only having to see so many wedding dates get postponed or cancelled, but wedding suppliers have had to deal with so many emotional couples too, and our hearts go out to each and everyone of them!
Most of our 2020 couples have postponed their wedding days to next year, but Chris and Tori decided 2020 was going to be the year for them and changed their Spring wedding to an Autumn date instead.
It was a rollercoaster of a time for them with restrictions changing their plans of 80+ guests for a Church ceremony and celebrations at a Cotswold House, to just a church ceremony of just 15 of their close family and friends.
It may not be the day they had planned for but what a lovely day it was!
Chris and Tori were married at their local family Church just down the road from their home in Leigh nr Swindon.
Guests arrived with masks at the ready and soon they were all seated and awaiting the arrival of the Bride.
Tori arrived by horse-drawn carriage with her Mom proudly by her side, luckily Mum lives next door and formed a social bubble! At the church Tori was greeted by her two dogs who looked beautiful with their flower collars and followed Tori down the aisle.
The ceremony was lovely with a reading from Tori’s sister and all guests humming along to the hymns…they seemed to really enjoy humming along!
After the ceremony the confetti was thrown and the newlyweds had their photos taken. Soon after they headed home to toast the celebration and eat cake.
We enjoyed being a part of Chris and Tori’s wedding day and it's great they finally got married after months of upset, it may not be what was planned but it was a lovely intimate ceremony.
