"It was a real delight to work with Abbie & Keith to create this totally unique wedding cake.

This elegant, white 2 tiered wedding cake looked stunning set in Eastington Park as the sun was shining on this early spring day.

A delicate, edible silver leaf finish to the bottom tier added a modern, contemporary and luxurious feel to the cake.

Abbie was keen to incorporate the beautiful closed peony flowers from her bouquet into her wedding cake design which I was thrilled to be able to do. Over 60 delicate, handcrafted petals to create this stunning feature sugar flower.

The couple decided to choose 2 flavours for their cake. The bottom tier was a rich chocolate sponge with velvety smooth chocolate buttercream filling, wrapped in a milk Belgian chocolate ganache and covered in a flawless white fondant icing.

The top tier was vanilla sponge, a delicious vanilla buttercream filling, wrapped in a white Belgian chocolate ganache and covered in the same fondant icing.

To make this cake more special to the couple, the cake stand was handmade by the brides father and complemented the cake perfectly.

Abbie & Keith were absolutely delighted with their cake, commenting....
