We first met bride-to-be Rebecca at a Wedding Fair in Cheltenham, she started chatting to us about her wedding day plans, she wanted an intimate wedding in the Cotswolds - a traditional English wedding in the day and a Hindu ceremony in the evening. Her plans sounded amazing and we were chuffed when she emailed a few days later to book!
Aayush and Rebecca were married on Tuesday 10th September at Manor by the Lake, Cheltenham. Manor by the Lake is a stunning venue with equally stunning gardens, which make for a beautiful backdrop for photos.
Aayush spent the morning in the rock bar preparing for the day ahead with friends and family, while Rebecca along with her Mum, sister and niece spent the morning in the bridal suite. It was a very relaxed morning as Rebecca got ready and once her hair and make up was beautifully styled it was time to step into her gorgeous dress and make her way to the gardens for the wedding ceremony.
The wedding ceremony took place in the gardens of the Manor, and with her dad by her side, Rebecca made her way towards a smiley Aayush while the string quartet played. With friends and family looking on Aayush and Rebecca said their wedding vows to each other and once pronounced husband and wife they sealed the deal with a kiss!
While friends and family enjoyed a glass of fizz and yummy canapes, the newlyweds went for a little walk for photos.
The wedding breakfast took place within the Manor. The room looked simply gorgeous with two banquet tables dressed with flowers and candles. The cake was cut before the speeches, which was served after the meal as part of the dessert buffet....which was very yummy! The Father of the Bride was first to give his speech, lots of laughter and tears flowed throughout. The best man followed and had everybody laughing out loud, and then of course Aayush said a few words from the heart to his friends and family.
After the dessert buffet had been enjoyed it was time for everybody to get ready for the second ceremony, the Hindu Ceremony, which was also taking place outside. Every guest changed into traditional wear for the second ceremony and they all joined in with ceremony proceedings of which included dancing. The ceremony was very intimate and lit only by candle light and just a few lights. After the ceremony everybody headed back to the manor to dance the night away!
Testimonial: "We both want to say a huge huge thank you for being part of our special day. You were fantastic and blew not only the two of us away but also our guests. You were so professional, friendly and approachable we couldn't have asked for anything else." Aayush & Rebecca
