The Whitewed Directory Awards 2019...Shortlisters Announced

We are absolutely delighted to reveal the shortlisted businesses for The Whitewed Directory Awards 2019!

The judges, three highly-respected experts in industry, were hugely impressed by the number and quality of entries, which showed both smart business aptitude and an entrepreneurial spirit that the region should be proud of, and due to the high quality applications, it was difficult to select the finalists. The judging panel comprised of three highly respected industry professionals:

Sara Tye, award winning, top 500 international PR, business and organisational development expert and serial entrepreneur, Ian Larrard, Director of Business West in Swindon and Wiltshire, and Emma Richards, Director of Sales at DoubleTree by Hilton Swindon.

It was amazing to see such drive, passion and variety from The Whitewed Directory members, and the judges now face the unenviable task of choosing a winner in each category!

The three categories in which members nominated themselves and were judged were as follows: Business of the Year 2019, Most Inspiring Person of the Year 2019, and Start-up Business of the Year 2019.

In addition, Whitewed Directory members had the opportunity to vote for their favourite member, and so we are delighted to have the final results in for the Peers Award 2019. Votes came in based on how their peers had worked with them on many occasions and love their work, how they've overcome adversity and admire their strength and business.

Finally, and new for 2019, the Director's Award 2019; Natalie Lovett, Director of The Whitewed Directory has selected Whitewed approved businesses who have been outstanding for a series of reasons - maybe they been a real Whitewed advocate and embraced everything Whitewed has to offer, perhaps they have made a real difference to the local industry or had an amazing year of growth / development.
